Quality and Humanity in Health

Giving up smoking is one of the most important things you can do to improve your own health and to protect others from the harmful effects of second hand smoke.

There are several free smokefree support services available in Southland, as detailed below.  In addition, many general practitioners (GPs) also offer subsidised nicotine replacement therapy. Some workplaces also have nurses trained in smoking cessation.

The first step is making the decision that you want to give up the smoking habit.
