There are several Kaupapa Maori Health service providers in Southland, providing primary health care services for Maori by Maori in a community setting. These services receive funding from Southern DHB through contracts to provide specific Maori health services.

Oraka-Aparima Health and Social Services provide a range of health and lifestyle related support services to support independence and the health and well being of the community. Awarua Social and Health Services

Awarua Social and Health Services provide a wide range of health related support services to the Bluff and Invercargill communities with the objective to achieve a positive and healthy change for whanau.  Services include health advice and support for individuals and whanau, health education and promotion, pregnancy/birth care education and support, breast care, health planning, foot care and more.
