We need a qualified and experienced Mental Health Professional to fill this key role with a focus on intake, which serves as a vital first point of contact with the CAFS team.  This role primarily involves receiving new referrals, clarifying these and gathering further information when required, then conducting the intake assessment sessions with consumers and family/whanau.  Depending on the requirements of the department you may also be required to carry a small caseload as and when required. 

 

You must be Mental Health experienced, NZ registered, and hold a current APC.   Consideration will be given to Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Social Workers - with experience working with children, adolescents and their families in the mental health sector.   Joining our multi-disciplinary team you’ll bring your broad based generic caseload experience with excellent assessment and intervention skills, along with an ability to work under pressure as a team player committed to excellence in service delivery.   We offer ongoing tailored professional development specific to our Mental Health team, who are professional, dedicated and well-connected throughout the New Zealand mental health network.
