Enrolled Nurse – Ward 4C, General Surgery

Dunedin Hospital

 

  • Permanent, 0.8 FTE (32 Hours per week)

To join our supportive team you will need to be a team player with a positive ‘can do’ attitude who strives for excellence and high quality in their work. You will also have a minimum of 1 year recent surgical or acute nursing experience.

 

Ward 4C is a 25 bed general surgical ward specialising in vascular, urology, plastics, breast and gynaecology and provides for both elective and acute surgical admissions.

 

You will be provided with a first-rate orientation and an ongoing in-service education programme.  The work is varied and interesting and you will have many opportunities to develop professionally. The hours of work are rostered and rotating shifts. 

 

You must be registered as an Enrolled Nurse under the HPCA Act 2003 and have a current Practising Certificate, transitioned to the new scope of practice and current eligibility to live and work in New Zealand as we need surgical nurses for an immediate start.
