Procurement Specialist – Supply Chain

The Southern DHB Procurement team has an exciting new role for a Procurement Specialist to join them on a permanent, part-time basis. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this position will be responsible for maintaining a collaborative shared services approach across the DHB for the Procurement function, by way of developing and delivering procurement projects, liaising with stakeholders and undertaking important elements of analytical work.
In this role, you will be overseeing key project elements, such as ensuring correct accountabilities are held, relevant stakeholders are informed and involved in the process and that documentation and procedures are both completed and followed for ease of future reference.
Personally, you will be a team player, and be known for your innate ability to secure buy-in from a wide range of stakeholders. You will be an experienced and confident Procurement professional, preferably within a health setting.
