Our Professional Development Unit supports the DHB workforce through the delivery of key learning and development programmes; thereby contributing to the best possible health outcomes for our community. Specifically we work with Health Work Force NZ (HWNZ) funded Post Graduate Nursing programmes as well as HWNZ funded New Graduate Registered Nursing programmes, amongst others. The main focus of this role encompasses administration around funding allocation, document control and financial tracking of invoices and reimbursements for our HWNZ funded programmes. Additionally this role also involves general secretarial work; agendas, meetings, minutes, diary bookings and telephony.
This truly is a diverse role which carries a varied workload, and the need at times to work to strict deadlines. Working to a high standard and utilising your strong interpersonal skills, your ability to prioritise and your well-honed administration and secretarial skills, we’re looking for a highly organised, friendly and accommodating individual to join us. You will be an advanced user of MS Office Suite with particular focus on Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. You will be responsible for managing finances so accuracy and numeracy skills is a must for this role.
