Registered Nurse – Ward 7A & B

Dunedin Hospital

 

  • Fixed Term – Maternity Leave (up to 12 months)
  • 2 x Registered Nurse vacancies

 

We are looking for Registered Nurses with a minimum of 1 year NZ Clinical experience that have the skills and knowledge to join this busy acute area.  Please note that if you do not meet this minimum criterion you will not be considered for the role. 

 

Within this role you will work closely with other departments in the hospital and have the opportunity to build up a high level of skill and knowledge which will be valuable for the rest of your career in areas such as BiPAP, CPAP and ECG Interpretation.  You’ll be expected to develop and use advanced assessment skills and knowledge, to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

 

To join our supportive team you will be a dynamic, flexible and motivated nurse who is enthusiastic about their professional development.  Of course you’ll also be a team player who communicates well, works with high professional standards, and ideally comes from a coronary care, medical or surgical background.  If you already have Critical, Acute or Coronary Care skills and Level 6 CPR this would be an advantage but not essential.
