Duty/Clinical Nurse Coordinator  - 7th & 8th Floor (Medical Wards)

Dunedin Hospital

 

  • Fixed Term Contract until Jan 2018
  • 0.6 FTE (24 Hours per week)
  • Rotational Shifts  - Monday to Sunday

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to support the Clinical Nurse Manager in providing clinical co-ordination and nursing leadership across our medical wards (7th & 8th floor) at Dunedin Hospital.  This position will provide the appointee with the opportunity to manage the clinical environment, facilitate staff development and at the same time enhance management skills.

 

The successful applicant must have extensive clinical experience as well as having other specialities.  You must have evidence of current certification relevant to Trauma Nursing and Advanced Life Support and have completed, or be working towards appropriate post graduate qualification. The ability to inspire and motivate others to commit to, and work towards the organisation/service goals is essential.
