We have a vacancy in our inpatient physiotherapy team providing an opportunity to work as a senior clinician with ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the inpatient setting.
We are looking for someone with enthusiasm for physiotherapy, who enjoys working as part of a team, has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and is driven and proactive in developing and learning new skills. The successful candidate should be able to work autonomously, managing and prioritising a caseload within the inpatient setting and developing on-going advanced skills. This role also provide support for students, new graduates and rotational staff.
Performance at a senior skill level in this setting requires a strong cardiorespiratory knowledge, including a capability to work competently and autonomously in the intensive care and high dependency units. The candidate would have a strong understanding of optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective discharge in the acute setting. As well as leadership qualities to assist co-ordination of the inpatient team to ensure high quality patient care and services.

The team provides regular in-services, senior staff mentoring, peer review, a comprehensive on-call competency training framework and access to course and conference funding.
There are opportunities to work within a number of clinical areas including: ICU, Cardiorespiratory, Surgery, Neurology and Orthopaedics.
