ETL Specialist – Information Systems

Dunedin/Invercargill

 

  • Permanent, 1 FTE (40 Hours per week)

 

The Southern District Health Board Information Services team has an exciting opportunity for an experienced ETL Specialist to join them on a permanent, full time basis.

 

A key member of the Reporting and BI team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing development, implementation and management of the Extract, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes and environments of the Southern DHB. Using skills honed over 3+ years’ experience as an ETL Specialist in an enterprise scale environment, you will be committed to continuous quality improvement, and have strong analytical skills. You will be comfortable working in project environments, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and assess and adjust quickly to changing priorities.

 

Personally, you will be a forward thinker, flexible and able to network at all levels of the organisation. An expert problem solver, you are used to researching and developing creative solutions to complex business needs. It goes without saying that you will be able to operate with a high level of confidentiality, commitment and personal integrity, and be a strong team player.

 

To be considered for this role we require candidates to hold a degree in the field of Computer Science / Information Systems, as well as a demonstrated ability with ETL tools and 3+ years’ developing enterprise-level ETL.
