Dunedin Hospital

Permanent, part time

The Neonatal Unit at Dunedin Hospital is looking for a part time Nurse Educator to join their team on a permanent basis.

 

Are you a registered nurse with at least 3 years’ experience in Neonatal Intensive Care nursing? You will have exceptional communication skills, and the ability to present and teach to a range of different learning styles.  A skilled practitioner, you will keep abreast of developments in the relevant areas of nursing with the ability to change and adapt your teaching /polices/ practice dependent on evidence based practice. 

 

It is desirable that you have a postgraduate qualification or relevant teaching and assessment experience, and have achieved at least level 3 on the PDRP and are working towards level four or Senior Nurse Level. Consideration will be given to those working towards postgraduate qualifications and/or PDRP.

This is a 0.3 FTE (24 hours per fortnight) role.
