Description

Registered Midwife – Queen Mary Maternity

Dunedin Hospital

  • Permanent, 0.6 FTE (24 Hours per week)

Internal Applicants Only

In Dunedin, family counts for a lot.  If you’re looking to settle down in a city where family values still count, if you’re a Midwife who would appreciate the benefits of bigger city living but with that welcoming small town feeling, if you want a more affordable cost of living and want to live somewhere the neighbours still say ‘Hi’ - you will love coming to work for us at Queen Mary Maternity Centre in Dunedin.

Dunedin mothers have experienced our special brand of care and compassion at Queen Mary Maternity Centre for many years and if their little Dunedinites could, they’d talk all day about the very special blend of strength, compassion and cool-headedness of the midwives who helped them into the world.

At Queen Mary we birth around 1800 babies every year and we work very closely together with the midwifery and medical schools to give the kind of care our patients deserve.

If you are a Registered Midwife with a current practicing certificate we’d like to hear from you.  If you think you’d like working in a team where integrity, honesty and a great sense of humour count, please apply today. The opportunity is a permanent 0.6 FTE role.

Please note this role is open to current Southern DHB employees only.

Closing Date: Sunday, 8 October 2017
