Booking Administrator - Anaesthetic Pre-Assessment Clinic
- Permanent, 1.0 FTE (40 Hours per week)
- Monday to Friday 0800-1630 (flexible)
If you enjoy working in a busy and challenging environment then look no further. The Anaesthesia Clinic (APAC) requires a Booking Administrator to ensure the administrative needs are met. As part of this role you will be working closely with and providing essential support to nursing and medical staff. Your main duties will include booking outpatient clinic appointments, reception duties, liaising with patients and nursing/medical staff whilst providing a variety of administrative support to the Anaesthesia Clinic (APAC).
To be successful in this very busy role you will be well organised, skilled at prioritising tasks, problem solving and able to remain calm under pressure. You’ll have an outgoing and friendly manner and be comfortable interacting with patients both in person and on the phone. As you’ll be handling patient information, discretion is an absolute requirement. Strong computer and systems knowledge is an advantage.
The salary for this position is based on the PSA Collective Employment agreement, South Island Administrative Mecca, salary scale S4 between $42,094 to $49,511 per annum and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
