Child, Adolescent and Family Service (CAFS)

Introduction

The Child, Adolescent and Family Service (CAFS) is a specialist child and adolescent mental health service providing assessment and treatment primarily to children and young people aged 0 - 18 years. 

This service caters for children, young people and their families who live in the Invercargill, Gore and Wakatipu areas and who are experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems, suspected psychiatric disorders, or severe emotional and behavioural disturbance.

Referrals:  we accept referrals from professionals involved with children, adolescents and their families.  We also accept direct referrals from clients or their families/whanau.
