Introduction

The Stomal Therapy Service is a nursing service that supports patients with a stoma and their families. Stomal Therapy Nurses visit people both pre and post operatively in hospital and in the community to assist with ongoing management and assessment, education and troubleshooting any problems that may occur.

The Continence Service is a nursing service that provides specialist continence assessment, management, treatment and education for patients from 4 years of age with bowel and/or bladder problems.  Patients can be seen either in an outpatient clinic or at home if mobility or transport is an issue
