Lakes District Hospital - Queenstown

  • Part-time position (0.8FTE)
  • Fixed term to 29.11.19

Are you an experienced ED Registered Nurse looking for a change of lifestyle? We can offer just that – you just need to come and see for yourself!

This is a great opportunity for you to be part of a great team working in one of the most enviable parts of the country!

You must have the ability to initiate and accept responsibility, work autonomously where appropriate or necessary and have the ability to function well in a multidisciplinary team. You will be part of an on-call roster of up to 4 x 24 hour periods over 28 days to assist with transfers. It is essential that applicants have a minimum three years post graduate with ED experience.

You will be responsible for providing a high standard of nursing care to all patients, using knowledge based practise and a holistic nursing approach, in accordance with quality and legislative requirements.  

You must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse and have a current Practising Certificate.
