Dunedin Hospital’s Respiratory team has an exciting opportunity for an experience Registered Nurse to join their passionate team on a part-time fixed-term basis in the specialty of Domiciliary Oxygen and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services.

Primarily based in Dunedin Hospital, this autonomous position also affords the opportunity to visit and care for patients at home in the community around the Otago Region, offering you the chance to expand your range of patient centred skills.  As such, the role is a multi-faceted position where no two days are ever the same, presenting ample opportunity for professional development for those who are motivated.

This role works in close collaboration with a small team of Respiratory Clinical Nurse Specialists and Registered Nurses who work hard to support one another in an effort to provide quality, patient-centred care no matter the location. Joining us presents an excellent opportunity for a nurse wanting more autonomy and further opportunities in nursing Respiratory or Management of Long term Conditions with the full support of a tight knit team.

This position really focuses on bridging the gap between primary and secondary care so if you value teamwork and are able to effectively prioritise workloads you will feel right at home with us. Ideally you will be a Senior Registered Nurse with advanced assessment and exceptional communication skills; and a full, clean driver’s licence is essential.

You must have current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand.
