Inpatient Occupational Therapist
Dunedin

  • Part-time 0.7 FTE
  • Fixed-term for 1 year

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our Inpatient Allied Health Team for one-year. We are seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with acute tertiary experience who is motivated to develop quality services in collaboration with others while working alongside a committed inter-professional team of health professionals.

We are looking for a clinician who can work autonomously, manage and prioritise a caseload within the inpatient setting, and is keen to develop their own skills while supporting the development of students, junior staff and the Allied Health Assistant workforce. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, will be motivated in the acute ward environment, and have a proactive case-finding approach.

We take pride in supporting our staff to grow as clinicians, so we run an ongoing support and professional development programme including opportunity for regular team in-services, senior staff mentoring and peer review, and access to course and conference funding.
