About the Role – what’s in it for me?
Clinical Records is looking for a reliable, positive, dynamic person to join our team working rostered shifts. Upon starting you will receive comprehensive training to support your development.
The Clinical Records service operates 24/7, this particular role is on a rotating roster within the close-knit shift work team of four, working afternoon shifts (3pm – 11pm) and night shifts (11pm-7am) Monday to Sunday including weekends and public holidays.
This fast paced role has a strong focus on records and information management including paper patient records, use of electronic systems and interactions with health professionals both internal and external to the Southern DHB.
You will have a proven ability to deal with confidential/sensitive information, strong communication skills (oral & written) and be a reliable and enthusiastic team player with the ability to multitask.
To be successful in this role you will need to have:
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong attention to detail at all times
- A positive, can-do/problem solving attitude
- Relevant administrative work experience
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology would be a bonus
The salary for this position is between $37,788 and $42,740 per annum and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
