About the Role-what’s in it for me?
We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide holistic nursing care and support care to a variety of clients in Te Anau, Lumsden and surrounding areas ranging from terminal care and post discharge follow-up. As you will be covering the Northern Southland region, driving for you won’t be a problem. It goes without saying that you will have a current clean driver licence.
You must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse and possess a current Practising Certificate and driver licence. It is essential that you have had varied post basic nursing experience of 3-5 years including acute clinical, surgical and medical nursing.
It is important that you have the ability to communicate effectively, be self-motivated and tactful with a caring attitude, be able to cope in stressful situations and work as a team member.
