About the opportunity
You will be required to travel throughout the Otago region and engage with community groups. You will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, allowing you to liaise and engage with a diverse range of people from a variety of different cultures and communities. In addition the role includes oral health advice and dissemination of resources to other agencies and groups. This position is based in Dunedin.
You will need to have a good understanding of the principles of health promotion, be able to undertake health needs assessments, planning, implementing and evaluating projects to promote health improvement. There is a significant administrative component to this role so it is essential that you are computer literate, have strong attention to detail and excellent time management. It is essential that you have a full clean driver licence.
