- 1.0 FTE 40 hours, or if preferred minimum of 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week)
- Fixed term for up to 12 months

About the Team
South Community Mental Health Team provide care, support and treatment for people experiencing moderate to severe mental illness.
About the Role / About You
We have an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional in the South Community Mental Health Team, based at Wakari Hospital in Dunedin.
In this role you will work in an outreach capacity, providing time limited support to clients in the community. You will act as a Case Manager for a defined caseload, achieving quality mental health outcomes.
You will have sound skills in assessment, treatment planning, implementation and evaluation. As an excellent communicator you will thrive on having the opportunity to build and develop relationships with a wide range of disciplines and you will have excellent organising and time management skills, and you’ll also need to have a client centred approach and a strong recovery focus
We can offer you a minimum of 36 hours per week, or if you would prefer 40 hours per week that’s fine too. You’ll bring to this role experience within a Mental Health setting, and have a strong interest in working in the Community setting.
