This is an opportunity for you to be part of our multidisciplinary team in sexual health as a Cervical Screener.  You will have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and expertise in this field.  Ideally you will bring to us some years of nursing experience in the public health sector and it is essential that you are a current NCSP Cervical Screener.

You will have experience in assessment, planning, delivery and evaluation of safe and appropriate patient centred nursing.  As a self-motivated and professional Nurse you will have strong time management and organisational skills, and be adept at using computer systems.  You will be able to work independently, problem solve and use your initiative.

Ideally, you will bring to this role previous experience working in cervical screening, the community and General Practice.  It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and the ability to support education within the community and of colleagues.

Please note this role is open to current Southern DHB employees only.
