About the Role

Based at Wakari Hospital you will be working across the inpatient wards by supporting the provision of care in a range of areas.  Our Mental Health Assistants are key team members who assist our nursing and allied health staff to ensure an effective and efficient service. 

About You

As an Assistant working in Mental Health you’ll need to have a positive attitude and good communication skills, be able to take direction and work well as part of the team. 

Our ideal applicant will be confident in providing support and assisting patients; display initiative; be patient focussed at all times, and be able to adapt to a changing environment. 

Applicants should also note that a full driver’s licence is a requirement for this position.
