Our Nursing Resource Unit at Dunedin Hospital has a pool of Registered Nurses who work across all wards of the hospital, and we are inviting applications from experienced and motivated Registered Nurses to join us on a casual ‘as and when required’ flexible basis. We are particularly interested in hearing from people who are available throughout the year, and enjoy the pace of being a valued casual staff member.
About the Role – what’s in it for me?
We are interested in hearing from enthusiastic Registered Nurses who would be able to adapt to any ward situation. This really is the role which will offer variety, pace and flexibility. The opportunities available are across all shifts (incl. night shifts).
We’re looking for Nurses who are experienced and organised, friendly and calm, able to work independently and at the same time genuinely interested in the best outcome for both patient and team. To be considered the candidates must have or demonstrate:
- Must have current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
- Availability throughout the year to become a valuable casual resource within our team
