We work closely with the University of Otago’s School of Physiotherapy and support student education throughout clinical placements. Our team is also developing and implementing simulation training resources and programmes to enhance educational opportunities for all our staff and students.


About the opportunity

This is a fulltime permanent position in our Community Physiotherapy team based at Wakari Hospital, Dunedin. In this role you will provide community physiotherapy to patients residing in the Dunedin city region. Our teams enjoy the short commute to work and work-life balance is relaxed and affordable.  Dunedin offers an array of outdoor and recreational pursuits such as skiing, hunting, tramping, and much more all within 2-3 hours drive!


About you

You’ll need to have an enthusiasm for physiotherapy and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team who love to socialise and welcome new starters. You’ll have excellent communication skills, be consistent and reliable with a proactive approach to learning and sharing new skills. You will have a bright bubbly personality and come with a “Can do attitude”. You must have New Zealand Physiotherapist registration and current annual practising certificate. Ideally you’ll have at least 1 years’ experience as a qualified physiotherapist including respiratory and musculoskeletal experience, along with knowledge and experience of community based rehabilitation. A full, current NZ driver’s licence is essential.
