About the Team

We are a small but efficient team based over Dunedin & Southland sites working in an open plan office environment. You will be working alongside and supporting managers and other members of the administration team within our Building and Property department.


About the Role – what’s in it for me?

You will be the first person our visitors, contractors and colleagues see when they walk in the door so if you like being the centre of attention and acting as a coordination point for a busy team, this is the role for you.  We offer a fun work environment and regular work hours of 8.00-4.30pm.

You will be the glue that holds together, and ensures, the smooth running of our service by providing an efficient and timely escalation and welcome point for visitors who walk in or for issues that come across your desk.  You will need to be easy going, unflappable and flexible to the changing needs of our service.  Specifically. you will undertake the maintenance of helpdesk admin duties, log maintenance purchase orders, and provide support to the wider admin team when required. It is a busy dynamic environment and we need somebody that is able to work both on their own tasks in hand but is also a good team player.


About You

The successful candidate will have some customer service or administration experience and enjoy dealing with a variety of people face to face, on the phone and on email.  You should have good knowledge of Microsoft suite and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  A natural curiosity and interest in building, property and trades-related issues might be useful but above all we are looking for someone who can roll with it, learn quickly, and maintain a good sense of humour.  We can teach you the rest!
