About the Role – what’s in it for me?
As our new Accounts Officer in our Accounts Payable team your key purpose is to effectively contribute to the smooth running of the Transaction Team by providing an efficient and timely administrative support function that is responsive and flexible to the changing needs of the service/organisation. You will have prime responsibility for accounts payable invoice processing, supplier reconciliations and daily mail/emails and will also have the opportunity to provide cover for a variety of financial services tasks as required.
You will need to bring:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Computer skills, particularly in using Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook
- A positive self-starting approach
- Willingness to adapt to the needs of the service and take on tasks as appropriate
- Great communication and the ability to build effective working relationships throughout the team and beyond
- Ideally some experience in a similar role.
