Respiratory Physiologist – Diagnostic Testing Department

We have an exciting opportunity for a Respiratory Physiologist to join our Diagnostic Testing Department at Southland Hospital, on a fulltime permanent basis where we deliver a full range of cardiac, respiratory and sleep testing.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and great communication skills with team members and patients alike. The ability to cope with busy workloads and be flexible is a must. We are looking for someone who relishes a challenge as we have some major changes occurring over the next few years with replacement of the laboratory equipment, and establishment of a reporting system.
We are looking for someone who can perform all respiratory diagnostic tests independently to a high standard and has an interest in quality control and service development. You will also need to have current registration (or meet registration requirements) and hold or be eligible to hold an APC with the Clinical Physiologists Registration Board.
