Rotational Physiotherapist – New or Recent Graduate
Following recent internal role appointments, we have an exciting and sought-after opportunity for a new or recently graduated physiotherapist to join our rotational staff training programme.
We are seeking an enthusiastic team-player who is keen grow their knowledge and skills across the range of clinical areas offered within Southern DHB. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive approach towards learning are essential.
The rotational programme at Dunedin Hospital comprises six-monthly rotations across all areas of acute inpatient services (including medical and acute stroke, respiratory, surgical, critical care, orthopaedics and paediatrics), inpatient rehabilitation, musculoskeletal outpatients, and community.

We run a well-developed on-going support and professional development programme, which will nurture you to evolve into a capable and confident physiotherapist. The programme includes regular in-services, senior staff mentoring, an interprofessional learning programme and support network, peer-review, a comprehensive on-call competency training framework, and access to course and conference funding.
