About the opportunity

We currently have a vacancy for a casual driver to join our team working on an as needed basis. The role involves a range of tasks making sure that our staff, patients, visitors and equipment get to where they need to be in a safe and timely manner so there will be plenty of variety in your day. Along with providing a friendly and reliable shuttle service between the SDHB sites, you will also carry out courier jobs as required.

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will need to:

  • Hold a P class driver’s licence
  • Be physically fit – there will be some lifting of potentially heavy items
  • Be a friendly, outgoing person with a positive attitude
  • Be able to work independently and unsupervised
  • Have excellent time management and organisational skills
