Dunedin and Invercargill internships available for 2021

We are now taking applications for two positions of Pharmacy Intern within Southern District Health Board, starting January 2021. There is one position available at Dunedin Hospital, and one position available at Southland Hospital.
The Pharmacy Departments within Southern District Health Board have excellent reputations, and are an integral part of the Tertiary Teaching hospital and services provided by SDHB. You will experience all areas of hospital pharmacy during your intern year which will involve significant clinical training (including being responsible for your own ward area under supervision) as well as involvement with medicines information, pharmacy projects and all aspects of our dispensing processes (inpatient, outpatient and aseptic).
We are looking for people who work well as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, are consistent, accurate and reliable in their work, and who enjoy learning new skills.The successful applicants will need to be adaptable to the ever changing health environment, well presented at all times, capable of self-motivation and time management, and have the ability to provide alternative solutions to problems.
