About the opportunity

If you are considering a change in environment, then this would have to be it!  Located in lovely Wanaka right next to the Wanaka Primary School with amazing mountain views.  We have a great opportunity for you, as a Dental/Oral Health Therapist, to work as part of our Community Oral Health Service. 


Your work life balance is relaxed and on the weekends you have an array of outdoor and recreational pursuits such as skiing, tramping or boating out on the lake to mention a few.


You will work alongside one of our enthusiastic Dental Assistants as part of a wider team, committed to delivering quality health services.


You’ll be responsible for maintaining the Oral Health of children in our clinics, educating children and their families on Oral Health and the prevention of Oral Health disease.  You’ll recognise, diagnose and treat oral abnormalities and disease and where appropriate refer children for further treatment.


To be considered for this permanent role you must have at least 2-3 years’ experience as a therapist and be registered with the Dental Council of New Zealand as a Dental/Oral Health Therapist and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate.  You’ll also have a full, clean NZ Driver’s Licence.
