Here at Southern DHB, we are looking to permanently appoint a Programme Manager for the Bowel Screening Programme to undertaken the ongoing management of the National Bowel Screening Programme, and support other projects as needed.
The role sits within and is supported by the Medicine, Women and Children’s Directorate in the DHB structure, but the impact of the Programme is seen across the entire DHB. You will be working alongside the Bowel Screening Clinical Leader, the Ministry of Health, clinical staff within the hospital and the community, the PHO and have close links with the other DHB’s in the South Island. You will be supported by a Bowel Screening Steering Group who will assist in providing advice and support in all aspects of the Programme. The role may be based in either Southland or Dunedin, however will require travel to both sites as necessary.
To be considered for this role, you must have previous demonstrable experience with Project or Programme Management. You will also have strong leadership and management skills, with the capability of managing a diverse team at a senior level.
You will be an outstanding communicator (both written & verbal), along with possessing excellent relationship and stakeholder management experience.
