Dunedin Hospital’s Critical Care team are on the lookout for 2 administrators with exceptional customer service skills to join their expanding team on a permanent, part-time basis.
About the opportunity
In this role, you will be providing essential support to the Patient journey by fostering a welcoming environment for families of our patients right from the get go on the reception desk. Your main duties will include managing the reception area, assisting with patient enquiries, managing patient databases, writing and taking meeting minutes. This is a busy environment where you must be able to think on your feet and be ready for any challenge that comes your way.
Week A = 3pm – 8pm Monday/Tuesday and 12pm – 8pm Saturday/Sunday. Week B = 3pm – 8pm Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday

You will be joining a dedicated, supportive and friendly team of health professionals, providing invaluable support to families when they need it most. The salary range for this position is $44,894 - $46,740 and appointment step is based on previous relevant experience and skills.

You will have a friendly and welcoming nature and be comfortable interacting with people both in person and on the phone. As you will be the first point of contact for families visiting our unit, the ability to act with integrity, compassion and discretion is an absolute requirement. Our ideal candidate looks to take ownership of their work and understands department and organisational priorities as well as the ability to multi-task.
