Here you will have the chance to work with a great team in a community that cares. Joining our community mental health team, you will have the opportunity to work with patients from the age of 16 and over, providing integrated care throughout their journey through the healthcare system. The integrated model has provided great gains for our patients and their families. In this role you will see a wide range of presentations, providing clinics at our main clinic in Invercargill and in our rural clinics.
Within your generalist position, you will have the support of a great multidisciplinary team, which includes a team of extremely experienced Registered Nurses. Southern District Health Board embraces the use of technology, and you will have the opportunity to use it regularly as we take advantages of videoconferencing in the clinical setting, allowing us to make contact across our District. For those who have an interest, there is the opportunity to participate in the ongoing work of continuously improving upon on quality related issues within the Service, an area of interest to our team, showing that we are always striving to be the best we can be.

Applicants must have completed their specialist training and be eligible for vocational registration with Medical Council of New Zealand We offer an attractive annual salary package based on skills and experience ranging from approximately NZD 216,000 to NZD 315,000 as well as full CME entitlement, superannuation and annual leave. We also offer an attractive relocation package.
