Allied Health Assistant

Part time 0.5FTE fixed term to 13.8.21



We have an exciting opportunity for an Allied Health Assistant to join our Allied Health Unit team at Dunedin Hospital.  We are looking for a practical, motivated and well-organised person with experience working with people from all ages and walks of life to work alongside our Allied Health Unit teams in supporting patient’s interventions and discharge planning from the inpatient ward.

This position will be predominantly working with the Social Work team but you may be required to cover other Allied Health Unit teams as required.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a team environment, is proactive and willing to learn new skills.  You will have excellent written and oral communication skills.

You will have the ability to work under direction of registered Allied health professionals, be supportive of colleagues, and open to new ideas.
