Radiation Therapists – New Graduates
- 2x full time 1.0 FTE positions (40 hours per week)

We are inviting applications from new graduate Radiation Therapists who wish to join our friendly team in Dunedin Hospital on a fixed-term, full-time basis upon successful completion of their studies.
About the Role – what’s in it for me?
In these positions, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and proactive team who continue to develop and provide contemporary radiation therapy treatment in New Zealand. We provide the national stereotactic radiotherapy and radiosurgery service, and deliver a range of techniques including SABR, DIBH, VMAT, and IMRT.
We are looking for enthusiastic team players with excellent communication skills, high levels of initiative and a strong patient focus. A condition of employment into these fixed-term positions will be that you are a NZ trained Radiation Therapist, graduating in November 2020.
To succeed in this role you will need to have:
- Registration with the MRTB, and a current APC by the start date of your contract
- The right to work in New Zealand
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused
