Clinical Nurse Specialist - Rural
Eastern Southland Nurse Led Clinic - District Nursing

  • Permanent, part time (0.2 FTE / 8 hours per week) position

We wish to employ a suitably qualified Clinical Nurse Specialist to provide services in our Eastern Southland Nurse Led Clinic based in Wyndham. You will be responsible for delivering care to patients attending the clinic, for one day a week.

The successful applicant must be multi-skilled with specialist skills and be able to work in a variety of healthcare settings. There is a strong emphasis on primary care presentations. Applicants must have advanced assessment skills, strong communication and documentation skills as well as be computer literate. You must be able to work alone.

Because you’ll be driving when you are required to work in the community, a full, clean driver’s licence is essential for this role. 

You must be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse and have a current practicing certificate. A minimum of 3 years post graduate nursing is also required.
