About the Team
The Southern District Health Board Youth Specialty Service’s (YSS) is a specialised out-patient service providing comprehensive assessment and treatment for young persons in the Otago area. As a focussed and passionate Clinical Psychologist with experience working with youth and their family, you shouldn’t let this opportunity pass you by.
About the Role and You
In this Dunedin based role, you’ll manage your own caseload, and you’ll be committed to delivering excellence to youth and their family in an age appropriate and culturally appropriate manner, liaising effectively in partnership with community agencies to support the youth’s health and wellbeing.
You’ll have a sound knowledge of appropriate youth focussed mental health interventions and provide specialised assessment and treatment, with a strong emphasis on family inclusion and family therapy for youth (0-18 years), experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
To be considered you must be registered with the NZ Psychologists Board with a Clinical Psychologist scope and hold a current Annual Practising Certificate. A current NZ drivers licence will also be required.
