Project Manager – Rural Hospitals, Fulltime Fixed-Term one year

This is an exciting opportunity to work with the six rural hospitals operating within the Southern District Health Board catchment area.
The rural hospitals of Clutha Health First, Central Otago Health Services Ltd. Gore Health, Lakes District Hospital Queenstown, Maniototo Health and Waitaki Health have joined together to create this new position of Project Manager to work on projects which will strengthen the rural hospital network and reduce the inequities experienced by rural populations and maximise organisational efficiencies and effectiveness. This will account for .6FTE of the fixed-term fulltime role.
A second aspect to this role will be to work on projects with a specific COHSL/Dunstan Hospital quality improvement focus. This will account for .4FTE of the fixed-term fulltime role.
The post holder will be employed by COHSL on behalf of all the partner organisations and will report to the COHSL Chief Executive.
To be successful in this position you will be:
• Passionate about delivering high quality clinical service in rural communities
• experienced in managing projects in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
• a self-starter with a desire to forge strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
• a confident communicator, able to communicate complex issues in a clear, concise and persuasive manner
