Lakes District Hospital is a busy facility, with an emergency department, general ward, radiology, maternity and outpatient departments. We are situated in Frankton, Queenstown- a busy recreational town for adventure sports, mountains, lakes and so much more.
About the opportunity
Located in the hub of clinical administration, this busy and varied role will often challenge your organisational skills with competing deadlines and conflicting priorities. You’ll be a positive communicator – both written and oral and be competent in MS Office Suite with particular focus on Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using database systems and/or the capability to quickly pick these up is essential.
As part of the administration team you will form part of the front line so your friendly, welcoming, resilient nature will be appreciated. A background in medical administration would be ideal but not essential. You’ll have a mature outlook, excellent relationship management skills and function well under the pressure that often occurs when dealing with the public in a health environment.

The hourly rate currently for this casual position is between $22.81 and $26.49 and will be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
