Recruitment Advisor
Dunedin or Southland Hospital
- Permanent, full time position
- Fun, friendly team environment
- Become a trusted advisor managing end to end recruitment
This isn’t just another recruitment job, this is a chance to use your skills to find the top talent to support the rewarding and diverse world of healthcare within the Southern district.
About us
We are an experienced, friendly and dedicated team aiming to provide the best possible support to our people in the busy and rewarding world of healthcare. With our much anticipated recruitment system upgrade almost complete, now is the time to join us and make a difference to the health of our region!
Here at the Southern DHB, we put our patients and families/whanau at the centre of everything we do, and that includes bringing in the right talent to make sure that their needs are met. That’s where you come in.
About the opportunity
We are looking for an experienced, skilled, motivated and positive team member to bring their passion for recruiting and building relationships across all levels of the organisation. You’ll become a trusted advisor managing end to end recruitment of clinical and non-clinical health professionals across a variety of service areas within the DHB.
Your role will involve creating sourcing strategies to achieve the short and long term hiring goals, often within hard to fill areas. You’ll also have the ability to offer expert advice across campaign planning, the hiring process and ultimately finding the right person for the job. Being able to organise and prioritise your time effectively; and build relationships to work confidently alongside senior management will be strengths of yours.
About you
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Proven recruitment experience in either an in-house or agency environment – or both!
- Experience in pro-actively sourcing candidates to meet business needs
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation
- The ability to prioritise effectively and self-manage your time
- Adaptable style and a positive attitude
Your commitment to customer service will ensure the candidate experience is a positive, memorable and consistent process. We would prefer you to have significant recruitment expertise and an interest in health care would be a bonus.
You’ll receive full training in our systems and processes so when you start working independently you’ll be able to hit the ground running. As this is an across district role, there will be managers in both Dunedin and Invercargill that need support, therefore some travel is involved.
This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, dedicated team. If you think you fit the bill, and would enjoy recruiting in a complex and varied health care environment, we’d love to hear from you! Please apply online with your full CV and cover letter outlining why you think this is the role for you.
