An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychiatrist to work in our Adult Mental Health & Addictions Service in a fixed term capacity from 22 April until 9 September 2021.
Responsibilities will include assessment and treatment formulation while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and engaging with the wider mental health and addictions sector. You will have a strong commitment and sound understanding to biculturalism and the service user and family / whanau inclusion in service delivery with a focus on recovery.
You will have a personal commitment to maintaining high standards of practice, your providing clinical leadership and medical input to the multi-disciplinary team and full participation in team functioning is essential.

Fellowship with the RANZCP or equivalent is essential and you must hold registration with the NZ Medical Council allowing you to work as a Specialist Psychiatrist.
