The MDM Co-ordinator is responsible for the establishment, facilitation and management of MDM meetings from which patient management plans are formulated and all relevant stakeholders are informed.
Applications are invited from current DHB staff who have the ability to provide an efficient and high quality co-ordinated service which facilitates multi-disciplinary meetings that are designed to provide optimal service delivery to the patients of Southern District Health Board.
The MDM Co-ordinator supports Faster Cancer Treatment (FCT), a Ministry of Health Target through assisting with key work in this arena – prospectively tracking patients, processing key diagnostic and treatment milestones on the FCT pathway using the electronic FCT solution.
