Cardiac Physiologist – Cardiac Intervention / Cardiac Pacing

- Full-time 1.0 FTE (80 Hours per fortnight)
- Monday to Friday *with an on-call component
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardiology Service for a qualified Pacing Cardiac Physiologist with interventional cardiac experience to join us on a permanent, fulltime basis.
About the Service
Dunedin Hospital is the Cardiology/Cardiac Surgery centre for Southern District Health Board. We are fortunate to be able to offer excellent training opportunities both locally and internationally, as well as maintaining close relations with the prestigious Otago University. The Cardiology Department itself is warm, welcoming and social.
The successful candidate must:
- Hold a Post graduate qualification of IBHRE/NASPE or similar, and or be prepared to work towards IBHRE
- Have evidence of ongoing CME and self-directed learning
- Ideally hold 4 years’ + experience in Pacing and CathLab post registration
- Be competent and able to work independently
- Have excellent communication and organisation skills
