- Monday to Thursday between 0800 – 1700, and Friday 0800-1200

About the opportunity
In this role, you will be providing essential support to the Patient journey as they prepare for an operation, by fostering a welcoming environment for patients right from the get go on the reception desk. Your main duties will include tending to the patient in front of you, always ensuring that they are given key information and that their details are up to date and correct, and preparing the health record for day of surgery.
You will be joining a dedicated, supportive and friendly team of health professionals, providing invaluable support to families when they need it most. The salary range for this position is $46,894 - $48,740 pro-rata and appointment step is based on previous relevant experience and skills.
You will be the kind of person who enjoys working with people in a dynamic environment and be skilled at multi-tasking. You must be a team player with very good communication skills, who understands and appreciates the need for attention to detail. You must also be comfortable interacting with a variety of people and attending to issues that arise – usually at the same time!
