Registered Nurse – Ward 3 Surgical

  • 2 x Permanent, 0.8 FTE (32 Hours per week)

Ward 3 Surgical is a recently formed and refurbished 54 bed specialist surgery ward covering Acute and Elective Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, Rheumatology, ENT, Ophthalmology and Maxillofacial areas.


To be considered for the registered nurse position, you’ll need to have recent experience surgical nursing, be able to demonstrate resilience, won’t mind putting in some hard work and be open and willing to up-skill as required.  Of course you’ll also be a confident communicator with a friendly demeanour and someone who values patient centred care. In return you’ll gain great work experience and the opportunity to either showcase or develop your skills in a variety of surgical specialties.


At the time of application you must be registered with the New Zealand Nursing Council and have current eligibility to live and work in New Zealand as we need surgical nurses for an immediate start.
