The South Island Alliance Programme Office supports the South Island District Health Boards (SI DHBs) Alliance framework, including governance, leadership and operational components. We provide regional planning and support services for the South Island Alliance teams, service based workstreams/ n networks and regional forums endorsed by the South Island Alliance Leadership Team.
The Aged Care Quality Assessment Team contributes to the provision of quality health care services in aged residential care facilities.
As an Assessor focussing on Aged Care Certification Monitoring, you will be part of a close-knit team, supporting the South Island District Health Board Planning and Funding teams to monitor and follow-up all requirements arising from the certification audit process of aged care facilities in the South Island.

Are a Registered Nurse
Have knowledge of service provision in the aged care sector
Have experience/ understanding of the audit process in the aged care sector.
Have demonstrated knowledge of the New Zealand health sector, with experience in service delivery or the planning and funding of aged care.
This a permanent position and we are looking for the right person or people to fill the role, so we will consider one fulltime or two part-time people.
This role is based in Christchurch but some travel will be required from time to time.
