Procurement Analyst - Procurement

Dunedin location

  • Permanent, 1 FTE (40 Hours per week)

The Southern DHB is looking to appoint a Procurement Analyst to join our expanding team – could you be the new face we are looking for as we continue to provide an exceptional service to the wider DHB?

In this role, you’ll be responsible for negotiation of procurement contracts, taking into account set deliverables, timeframes and budgets while ensuring adherence to DHB policies. You’ll make sure to keep abreast of changes in policy, supply areas and make recommendations as necessary to ensure the DHB remains in line with these. You’ll manage both relationships and end to end procurement processes, and do both in a professional and timely manner.

Personally, you’ll be innovative, professional and be able to pick things up on the fly. Your communication skills will be second to none, as a large part of your role will involve liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. Your relationship management and negotiation skills will set you apart from the crowd, and you will come to us with at least three years prior experience in a procurement or commercial role.

Our procurement team is both a hard-working and fun loving group and we are looking for applicants with both appropriate skills and experience, but also a great team fit. We offer a flexible working environment, and a supportive team approach. We are looking for someone who embodies the Southern DHB values in all that they do, and will be a pivotal addition to our close knit team.

If this sounds like you, please don’t hesitate – apply today!

Closing Date: Monday 21 August, 2017
